Mickel Allen (The Island of The Sun)
This Ones For You
A Friendship sometimes blossoms from feelings deep within
But sometimes comes and is quickly gone
With brisk or stormy winds
Some friendships seem to be serene
In silence though they may be
But one can never disregard a friend's unselfish, thoughtful deeds.
Some friends are distant
Some are meek
Some even try to cheat
By keeping your friendship for themselves
Where no one else can reach
Despite the many types of friends
I think you're most unique
The friend that isn't really a friend
Who has been a friend to me
