This Kinda World Poem by Jackie Hughes

This Kinda World

There are so many problems today,
kids hateing on other kids wont let em play.
too many times has there been attacks on the gays
Why cant you let em live it isnt your biz,
Just try to be a role model for all them kids
cus life is hard it keeps on gettin harder
its easy'r to hate then look at em like a  brother
peace to the kidz who took their own lives
I wish for their family to have restful nights
But I'm still wondering why we all just  cant get along
Why we can't all sing together to the same song
Cause whether Black white or Asian
Gay or straight
n' narrow we walking
Always afraid of talking
About how we feel
Just trying to find something real
Cause life is short and keeps getting shorter
So whats the point of cryin on my shoulder
So keep those eyes dry
And your mouth even drier
 keep that thirst for justice
Cause we gonna take it higher
Then life
U better hold on tight
Cause We ain't playin
It's about the good and bad
And the bad is gettin badder
Is this the kinda world you want for your son or your daughter
