This Is A Wonderful World Poem by Francis Kokutse

This Is A Wonderful World

the stars that brighten the blue skies
at nightfall,
sings me a song that;
this is a wonderful world.

the way my heart beats,
without any machine prompting it up
every second, every minute and every hour of my life,
tells me this is a wonderful world.

the wonderful world that you and l live
does make me get goose pimples
even at the thought of your name.

like a computer hard drive,
my brains show me constantly,
the smiles on your face;
the contours of those well carved body,
designed by the one man no one knows,
confirms that, this is a wonderful world.

To know that,
the mere thought of your name
can do magic to my system,
as if some fire has been put under my feet
to heat my blood,
proves to me,
this is indeed a wonderful world.
