This Feeling Poem by laiba shams

This Feeling

Sometimes I have this feeling I can’t myself explain
That adrenaline rushes from my heart through my blood to my veins
Those thoughts I can’t get rid of found a place in my head
That constellation I see right from my bed
On the sky, and on the ground
Both ways your thoughts surround
Some feeling in the bottom of my heart
But I can’t seem to figure out that part
Where a smile takes over my face
And my heart would suddenly start to race
My breath would go away
And my senses would forget the way
A time appears when I want to rip my heart out
And scream your name
And give away my shout
Thinking if you feel the same
When I look into your eyes
My soul flies, away but deep
Somehow you’ve got me laughing while I sing
Smiling while I sleep
There’s just something
Somewhere I’m falling
Somewhere I don’t know
Time isn’t stalling
But I truly wouldn’t want to go…
