Unexplainable Poem by laiba shams

I remember when i sat in science
You were by my side
I didn’t know anything
You helped me slide
That, red book of words you used to help me with
Im like that, filled with deep explanations just don’t know which word to find
And im never sure and confident enough that i explained it right
You know to take love you should give love,
And i did
But all of the above, i lost it
Our friendship was like that delicate piece of glass
It cuts your hand u loosen your grip and it falls
But then again beautiful as a diamond shield from the outside
Different people unite together at a gathering
But a slip of speech can get everyone’s attention.
I was like that; instead i wanted your attention.
I lost the bird that kept all my feelings in place
I let it fly away without ever even looking back.
We used to play after school hours
Sometimes i just feel like i want to break that clock
Which was ticking that time.
I never thought i would regret this much
But since you don’t know
i always hid the words i never want to say
ill never say those 3 words
Instead ill explain them in my way...
