This Coming Fall Poem by Thomas Plotz

This Coming Fall

Rating: 4.5

All of a sudden
The change is here,
Leaves begin to fall

Honey Locus leaves
Little golden yellow
Fall on this fellow

Except, big splashes of color
Not yet seen,
Most trees still green

Hot butter rum, need to get some…

Now, getting excited about colors coming,
With scents and tastes of autumn aromas

Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, apples and berries
Apple crumb strudel, covered with
Sussle crumbs (sugar, flour, flavoring, butter cold-cut in)

Placed on top to bake in
Almost a sweet lumpy roux, to soothe your sweet tooth
This covers the pie, can't wait to try

Maybe I should make some
This Coming Fall
