Thirst No More Poem by Terrance Tracy

Thirst No More

Harken to the voice, which calls from the flesh to drink of the water from a vessel or sink, drawn by the works of a heavy load.

Heartache and tribulation accompanies each day with false promises of life full of elation; only one finds that he or she is still facing the same situation when drinking from the well the water that keeps sons and daughter in the prison of depression.

To drink from the well of the flesh is a goal full of twist and turns that makes one's heart burn without victory over anything that nurtures one's soul.

The choice we have to make is to partake of the water of the well of living waters that has a promise, if one drinks he or she will thirst no more because Christ in you has applied the brakes.

Pain and suffering is still to come due to fact that in this world we are still facing circumstance that challenges one faith to close the door; glance fully into your heart, then this treasure you will find, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven free of the leaven that shuts the flow of the living water where one thirst no more.

Bring to mind, we pour no longer from the well as a victim alive to the flesh, but now one is a fresh creation that chooses to live by the Spirit a spirit of elation for salvation; the living water of grace were one's life is of faith to drink from the well in which we will thirst no more.
