Thinker's Companion Poem by Indira Renganathan

Thinker's Companion

Were you there, I do not know
In my mother's womb when I was..
Over the years an 'I' inly mine
Inclined toward mayic transience
Teen-aged in fanatic fantasy
Matrimonially in illusory affection, affliction
Surpassed all in untruth

All in unreality of 'I'
Nescience of the true 'Self'..
This moment you stand split so salient
O'my conscience, sentience, thought,
Why so concealed so far?
Alright, be unconcealed in nexus of your fulgency
To me as atonement when I am reborn
