Sigh if you want when things get tough,
Sigh every now and then,
Yet I will smile for God is love,
And I've been born again.

Sigh if you want when money's low,
Sigh when you feel alone,
Yet I will smile because I know
That God rules on His Throne.

Sigh if you want when things go wrong,
Sigh when at your wit's end,
Yet I will raise my voice in song,
Lord Jesus is my friend!

Sigh if you want, that helps a while,
Sigh every time you fail,
Yet I, with rosy cheeks, will smile,
