You have taught me
how to be more graceful
in the letting go

how to love without expectation
when love is unrequited
how to place my own value first
when seemingly undecided

how to soak you up with my eyes
while inside the dream i held dies
accepting impossibilities
no longer potentialities

You have taught me
to give and let show my vulnerabilities
to trust in others
and not all pain is caused volitionally
