The Planets Laugh Poem by C.S. Keskuela

The Planets Laugh

I look to the night sky
the full moon smiles
gleefully down at I
'no troubles here! ' says she.

Mars in all her blood red glory
whispers my secrets
to Jupiter and Saturn

Sitting vertically below her
'nor any have we' laughs mars
that dangerous warrior.

Destroyer of peace!
I am lonely....
Where is love now? I wonder

Come to me and we will share
Our secrets with the planets
So they will not laugh at me

'But tis not I that makes you lonely'
The moon whispers quietly to me
'nor tis it us' Sing all the planets in harmony
