Things That We'll Both Miss Poem by Ray Hansell

Things That We'll Both Miss

She'll never see the sun set
She'll never see the sun rise
She'll never see the moon and stars
As they reflected in her eyes

I'll never hear her laughter
I'll hear her speak
I'll never see that beautiful smile
That always made me weak

I'll never get, to hold her hand
I'll never get, to kiss her lips
The only thing that I know
Is that it's her I'm going to miss

We'll never ride in a car again
We'll never eat at a restaurant
I'll never get to tell her again
She was all I'd ever want

I'll never get to tell her
Something I know she knew
Just how much I loved her
No matter what she'd do

She never made me angry
She never made me sad
In fact just being with her
Always made me so very glad

But now it's time to say goodbye
It's the hardest thing of all
I can't really help it
As my tears just fall and fall
