There's A Golden Sky Poem by Catherine Casey

There's A Golden Sky

There's a golden sky
With a lake nearby
And I'm in the arms of my baby.

We have travelled far
Oh so very far.
It's not if or when even maybe.

With the sun set low
And our hearts aglow
There's a 'Yes' and a sigh and a lazy.

With our love entwined
Will the morning find
That we've been so lapsed even crazy?

Then I'll answer you
In that field of dew
That 'In life, in death We are always'.

In our travels on
When it seems I'm gone
You are here with me, I remember.

There's a golden sky
There's a golden sky
With a lake nearby.
