There Is No Substitutefor Prayer

Rating: 5.0

There Is No Substitute

There is no substitute for prayer
God has deemed it so
For He's the Great Physician
And the lover of our soul
Nor a sin so devastating
But from which He cannot heal
And restore the heart to rejoicing again
I know my God is real

When the grief of death overwhelms us
Praise God He giveth more grace
And takes the brokenhearted ness
Providing peace there in its place
What a comforting Father
To give this through His Son
And praise God its still available
To each and every one

Praise God my sins are blotted out
I'm living with abrand new page
With the Christ who lives in me
All present the Ancient of Days
And my cup is overflowing
O how sweet it is
So thankful for so great Salvation
He lives! He lives! He lives!
