There Is Poem by Otega A

There Is

Rating: 5.0

There is but one for whom I’m startled
From the start, the starter made it so.
Be it the winds would go wild and whirl,
That the trees would bend, twine and twirl,
And the duo would forever sway and swirl,
In her arms, I would surely be
Where my heart awaits to lie.

There is a face I long to see
With the smile I have seen she wears.
Be it the night would shade the day,
The day would hide the sun,
and the sun would dim the moon,
To her shores, I’d surely go
Where her beauty await my hold.

There is a song I long to sing.
With her love, please sing, my heart.
Be it madness would bereave the world
That cruelty would mount unbend
And the duo would tally and tarry forever unend,
With my flute, I’d surely be
When her tunes call to my play.

There is a crown I long to wear
Coz her gives, so crowd my head.
Let love linger where lovers lie
At whose doors
I’ve found my steps.
I care not for the world when called ‘A CLOWN’
Coz there is but one
That crowns my craze.
