Theoretical Fault Lines Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Theoretical Fault Lines

Rating: 5.0

intellectually mistrust
oversight inadequacy
of scientific
or philosophical theory
or abstract
moral principals obtuse

must defective fail
through deficient
integrity lacking
a core sustainable
transformation purity
coherent unified whole

simplified theorems
discounting inconvenient
incompatible surplus data
cannot aesthetically
encapsulate harmoniously
complete universal truths

optical event kaleidoscope
containing many colours shapes
integrates rotating complex
symmetrical shifting patterns
through multiple reflections
within inclined fixed mirrors

symbolic stimulus
placed between
transparent plates
at contained end
of a sealed tube
assembly constructs

a complicated set
of circumstances
shift representative
of segments only

balance of an all pervading
life light cosmic cohesion
