Then Tell Me How Poem by Robert Mestre

Then Tell Me How

Do you love me?
Yes I do!
Then tell me how.
I will for you!

Every time that you are standing
there within my view,
I'm blind to everything around
and all I see is you.

Your touch upon my skin so light
causes fire from within,
Then my heart begins to dance
with the beat of a thousand men.

But then your voice does still my soul,
My mind is now in bliss,
You continue leading me to heaven
with just your gentle kiss.

Your absence leaves me less a man
for you take my heart with you,
And if you were to not return
my life is surely through.

Yes I love you my fair maiden
for as long as God allows,
My love, my heart, my soul, my life,
This all to you I vow!
