Their Pain And Confusion Poem by Regan Meade

Their Pain And Confusion

How can he do this?
This crime so heinous that it makes
Even the strongest of hearts cringe.
How can one be so cruel?
To have taken a bond and crush
It into a millions pieces with every action.
Why, why must he throw that mistake at me?
A mistake he willingly took part in.
How can one have no tears left to shed?
No tears of anger, sorrow, jubilee,
Or frustration,
How must I deal with this?
With integrity and grace, or
With cunning and deceit,
How can he do this?
We were once so close that we could be family,
But that time is gone because of one ignorant girl,
Who is insecure with the world?
How can they do this to a friend?
