The World In Which We Live Poem by Cassaries Johnson

The World In Which We Live

The world in which we live,
It does not care for us,
There is no god to save us

We walk toward nothing,
Yet we run like the rat
without us having a true goal

In this world we kill each other,
Rob each, other rape each other,
The pain, it never leaves us

In this world you will live,
You will get older and die,
Then your children will do it all again
This world is an illusion
from which no one will escape
