The White Moon Poem by East Sea Fairy Xing Yi

The White Moon

Above the tip top of a mountain high
There hangs a beautiful Moon so white.
She is a girl of affections deep and fine
I stupidly gaze at her every night.

I am waiting for her
to spray all over me her golden light.
I’ve dreamed of for numerous times a desire
That I can take her for a flight in my life.

I will never again make her cry
I must amuse her so that she will laugh with her mouth open wide
I am waiting for her to fall in love with me like the blind
so blindly that she herself will find it a surprise.
