The White Crow Among Us Poem by andy Kill green

The White Crow Among Us

walking along the cornrows on the black fellow american
hearing his voice speaking in a foreign language
what is it that we have forgotten?

who was this mans ancestors?
where did they come from?
what did they say?
was there hope?

these are questions witch fulfills the eyes of the blind negro
and completes his whole head and eyes
making them ready for usage

only by knowing one's past, one is able to gain a full worthy life as a true human

the past is the key to the future
but living in the past is troublesome
so live above the past
be able to look into it, and realize

conceptions are easy to make in the future
but hard to pull through in the past

remember this, negro friend
