The woman at the well
Had sought to quench her thirst.
With her life, we all can tell
What she drank made her worst.
For she turned to the world
To many loves that did not heal,
With the void, her Pain unfurled
And she knew not what was real.
Then one day she met the Savior
Living Water came her way!
All her thirst He filled forever
With His Love, wiped tears away.
We are all that thirsty woman
Trying hard to drink at wells
But our thirst is more than human
For only God can break the spell.
He fills thirst of heart and spirit
Thirst for love and joy and peace,
For with Him we are complete
Faithful God, the Well is His!
