The Weird Cake Poem by Joe Stimpson

The Weird Cake

Rating: 5.0

I once found a piece of cake,
And then it turned into a rake,
But then I looked at it again,
And I saw a sitting wren,
Sooner or later I looked at it,
And I saw a pile of spit,
And in an hour it was a log,
And all of a sudden it was a dog,
Soon it was a video game,
And then a beast that was untame,
But suddenly it started to shake,
And then it turned back into cake

Beautiful imagery of a well articulated piece of poetry, elegantly brought forth in good rhyme scheme with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Joe.
