The Valium Tablet Poem by robinson michael

The Valium Tablet

A tablet given to them
is a tablet of valeum
five years from these moments
deep into their beds
shall their bodies,
hault the moves

They all lie unaware
of the lion's share
stripped from their land
for they don't understand
why refuse a tablet?

May the beauty of your land
open it's mouth wider
May the voices of your land
get much more louder
to wake you from your slummber

An interesting poem. Perhaps another verse is needed, to make the connection between valium and the land more clear.
