The Uncertainty Poem by Jessica Warrior

The Uncertainty

The guy I sleep beside now
Is the uncertainty of his zone
His conscious and unconscious are two divided lones
On a battle ground full of roses
Too tired to pick the swords
So they call you up as an observer
Who watches and touches all the notches
Until she burns and turns into a rose
His unconscious so passionately smells you up
While his conscious doesn't even propose
Your pricks can only stick out
When he sneaks out the morals

His hand upon the door
Oh his hand upon your doors
Leaning in to chase the bones
Your bones now let him through
When your mind been torn
Meanwhile before he knew

So he plants another rose
Measuring the distance of those two
Nothing new, Nothing new

As his conscious now ascends
He's a hero for your sake
When it showers by the lake
You borrow eyes to sneak a peek
At where your wisdom has gone to descend
In his big river of ethics
So now your beliefs surround him
For now you're a theory he misses
But his divided love doesn't take you anywhere
Unless you flow into his veins
As your efforts are in vain
Too much rose to take in
If he agrees, you know it's not innately him
Nobody has won over yet
When he disagrees a fire sweetens him
But he feels liver, when he gives
Chances of winning, meed and agreements

His broken mind is confusing you
As your mind only produces gloom
For his unconscious attracts you
And his conscious distracts whom
