The Truth Part 2 Poem by Jerad Castaneda

The Truth Part 2

One last look back before they leave, a feeling so cold, so empty feeling so rigid it feels like your a hollow shell.
A harsh truth is told in words not to kind. Can you handle it?
A question is asked as static and white noise fills your brain, it rings out to your ears, a low acrimonious hum of nothingness.
You can feel your body start to ache, shake, sweat trickles from your brow, seconds have only pasted.
Eyes well up with hot tears you barely try to choke them back.
A tightness constricts your chest making it almost impossible to breathe.
You try to scream their name as loud as you can but all that comes out is a wisp of sound from your lips.
questions spark in your mind.
why i am falling to pieces over this?
over you?
over us?
why did you fall apart?
why did i fall apart?
why did we fall apart?
what happen to us?
can we be the same?
will i be the same?
will you be the same?
Days weeks months past. The hurt like vicious venom still flows thru your veins.
Images like a psychosis, plague and proclaim your mind.
locked in a room you beg for mercy from what your brain has become.
A labyrinth of passages and corridors, Entangled in the enigma of why the pain won't reside.
You feel like a echo of what you once where.
An eclipse, you overshadowed by the past.
The pain consumes you.
Takes over, makes you someone your not and in the end you hurt all the people who ever loved you or who you ever loved.
This is your insanity
