Thank you for today
Dismal and grey...
Recreant
The sounds of the masses silent
Devastatingly defiant
With a pounding fist, caged
Within cartilage and ribs
Pulsatorally
I will persist and insist, enraged
'till my voice be heard
Death is not the end, you wait
Every life incarnate, vile
Besmirching
The chromosomal fate
Mute, your soul it will defile
Keep me silent, shaded and grey
Captive within your chambered heart
Enslaved
To yourself, a deep denial
The reasons we did, unjustly part
