The Truth About Love Poem by Sierra's Life of Poetry

The Truth About Love

Rating: 5.0

Love is an emotion felt for those often held so dear,
add a few words, an earnest tone, and whisper it in someone's ear.
The words will curl from the mouth and into the hearts of some,
who may not feel the same way and then the vivid colors of passion turn to dun.
Love has been described as a feeling of desire, fire, content,
however, I tell you now, that love does not derive from good intent.
Sadly as it seems, love cannot help from being quite addicting,
but for the sake of life and sanity, it's an addiction worth the kicking.

Love has feeling and emotion; but feeling and emotion may not have love. I enjoyed reading. God bless you
