The Transfiguration Of A Beast

Pulsating chambers as savage as a beast
Growling amidst an endless search for her feast
For love is a foot hunt in a wilderness of traps
As to the yearning desire the heart entraps
Yet love is no predator pouncing on innocence
She a priestess that evangelizes the heart’s furnace
Her promise awaits within my behemoth self
On the splendorous pedestal of a nuclear shelf
To blossom like a sunflower to the heart’s keeper
To unravel in a golden harvest to the heart’s reaper
She bestows light to the soul hunting in darkness
To find your emancipation in the arms of a heiress
For love liberates the winged soul
To soar to the heavens enriched by the heart’s parole
Oh the promise of love, for she bestows hope
For tapestries of nuclear fibers to magically elope
Yet love, not the congruence a hunter and his prey
But waiting for Artemis for the beast to allay

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
There was a time when I did vow
To that alone;
But mark the fate of faces;
