The Streets of My Dreams

Approaching the streets of my dreams
In a place
where the mind
has no frame of time
Where nothing is quite like it seems

Within Misty Cove
Adrift at The Shores
near the turn of Outside Looking Inn
Subliminal Waves cross The Coast Is Clear
Where Surreal Journeys continue again

From Drifting Point
at Lucid and Slumber
up to Gateway and Who Knows Where
leads the path to Unknown Directions
Where soon enough I'll be finding myself there

Roaming the streets of my dreams
With a trace
of the mind
that has no bearing on time
Where nothing is quite like it seems

On a slow motion stroll
down Old Memory Lane
that joins the corner of Past Avenue
I begin to transcend up to Floating Drive
Where Translucent Planes tends to lead itself to

Along Aimless Way
lying just up ahead
near the crosswalk to Awakening Place
The road at Full Circle marks the street of Dreams End
Where Rational Dimensions once again will embrace

Leaving the streets of my dreams
There's a place
without time
in a fragmented mind
Where nothing is quite like it seems

Cool poem Randy. Reminds in it's content, not structure or wording, of my poem 'Elsewhere'. (Report) Reply

Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.

She came from very far
