The Stranger Came Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Stranger Came

Rating: 5.0

I had been waiting for the stranger
Since early morning,
But he came to me in the dark evening,
Being frustrated, I asked him,
"Why are you so late? "
He remained silent,
Again I asked him the same question,
Still he did not answer,
Then I screamed in absolute pain and agony,
This time someone whispered to me,
"The stranger is deaf and dumb."

The poem has created an eerie effect! Is the stranger the personification of death? ?
