The Storm Poem by Sally Minns

The Storm

Rating: 5.0

The lighting strikes
And the thunder rolls in
The wind is blowing so strong
And the rain is pouring down

I'm traped inside
With my heart going wild
I need to be free
Free of the pain

As the windows start to shatter
And the lights go out
I feel the rush of the storm
And the power of the sky

I burst out into the rain
And scream into the wind
I feel as if I belong
Belong right where i stand

The lighting flashes
The thunder roars
The wind holws
The rain washes the pain away
