The Speckled Feather Poem by Amanda Elizabeth Sanchez

The Speckled Feather

Gentle sighs the white speckled feather
Blown, drifting alongside the breeze
Lifted she floats in all glory, mother
Sings, vibrato in tune beside the harp.

In a moment, flash a gust of wind
Carries while the wind soars under wing
This light speeds between the vein
Still floating everlasting quickens sharp.
