Carry Me Poem by Amanda Elizabeth Sanchez

Carry Me

Rating: 5.0

I hear the roaring of the wind, sweeping under my pillow.
Now, my dreams are silencing, tomorrow.
Carry me, my thoughts, my wonders, my hopes. Carry me to the willow.
Soar across the seascapes, in my painting, in my home.
Even though your hushing sound grows louder as I groan..
Carry me, my heart, my soul, my ever ending pain. Carry me forever, wherever you may roam.
All that glitters, all that's gold I see it when I sleep.
But if I wake up lonely, all my secrets I must keep.
Carry me my love, carry me under wing, carry me my darling love so I will never weep.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
May I ask that you bare it all, and open up to me. Loosing faith, it's easier to just sleep. I want to keep you by my side at night, please stay a while.
