The Space Between Things Poem by Patricia Mantabe

The Space Between Things

Rating: 4.8

Space measures distance and time,
beginnings and endings.
The space between things is a sacred space.

Between belief and custom,
truth resides.

Between emotion and reason,
balance evolves.

Between love and lust,
devotion is born.

Between law and justice,
public opinion dominates.

Between birth and death,
the quality of existence defines itself.

Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated, nice encapsulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. A lovely depiction of the interrelatedness of reality. Thanks for sharing Patricia. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Aloha Patricia... And Welcome... to PH.c An almost perfect post... Should you be interested in my take... well, here it is anyway... Space measures...nothings... an assumption perchance, to gain attention to the very good points within this work... the space between things... is a moot point of supposition... a proposition of an individual's persuasive position on such thoughts... The better issues are well considered and verifiable... Concise, of an order, a wisdom, an experienced lifetime of a more than conscious thought filled mind... IAM so very curious; care to discuss? We are neighbors... I thank you again for joining in and offering such enlightenment to the all of US... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two
