The Sound Of The Howl Poem by sarah bradley

The Sound Of The Howl

Rating: 5.0

it was on a stormy night, i walked outside and heard- ' The moon! The moon! Alas! The moon! Behold her beauty! And her mighty light! That shines forth! She makes darkness run! And shadows flee! Let there be no danger you see! We howl to her to gives thanks! ahhh Mighty and powerful moon! ' i was shocked and listened some more and heard- ' And yet do the stars her pups, yet twinkle their beauty upon us! They guide the way for wolves that have passed! May her pups guide wolves among us to the star way! And may the elders unto this day say! ' May it be well with thy soul wolf, you have fought and saved, protected and gave, now may the stars guide you on your way! ' I yelled ' what is this, noise you wolves make? ' Then one brave wolf stepped down, he was small but brave, his gray coat shown bright in the night, his blue eyes sparkled and he kindly said ' It is our song to the moon, to behold her beauty and bright.' i said ' what is your name? ' he said in a deep velvety voice ' Oh young one, you may call me storm'
