The Song Of The Morning Stars Poem by Anthony Opondo

The Song Of The Morning Stars

A journey of a thousand miles,
begins with a single step,
A journey of hope,
begins with a step of faith,
A journey into the reality, begins on the verge of acceptance,
how would i?
When these memoirs shall sing like the morning stars.

A smile can never end with a smile but with a frown.
Peace can never be but upon war.
Destiny is destiny only fate is against.
How would i smile, have peace nd see my destiny,
when these memoirs shall sing like the morning stars.

We often forgive and forget but for you i wish 2 forgive but nt forgive,
for like a wounded scar,
only felt the pain.
And only eases with my companionship with the bottle,
every new day i shall sing would the morning stars because of these memoirs.

A duet we were,
but i sing solo.
Like a pyramid i thought we would live on for years
now its all a piece of history without facts,
what i seek, i havent found.
The song of the morning stars, on the sky of memoirs.
