The Soldier Poem by amira chowdhury

The Soldier

Oh great soldier be arrogant as you've won the fight,
Don't give sympathy to your enemies as you've brought the light.
Now you may lie in peace and your soul may shine and glow,
All entity may retail your soul as your spirit shall roam and flow.
Lord make you the twinkle of the night and you shall be the spy,
and teach the young your immense power and you shall be the fly.

From childhood it has been your passion,
To teach the young your passion,
and this could not be taken,
as your sorrow shall still remain awaken.
Like the butterflies fluttering with light,
all saying that you're their their sight.

From every depth of good and will,
your wind will blind all still.
As you've blessed all flying by,
From the mountains, clouds, and through the sky,

Not a single chill of shiver will go down any ones spine,
Cause you will always be in our mind.
Oh great soldier be arrogant as you've won the fight.
