The Sky Speaks My Heart Poem by Rosetta -

The Sky Speaks My Heart

Rating: 5.0

6: 58 am, and the sky is dark.
Look up, dog, look up at the sky.
The grass is wet, and there is light in the cracks;
The clouds cover up my life.

A voice whispers that I'll be dead in two days
Unless I find a lover.
Useless, I think, I know it could never be.
How terribly wonderful to know that I have voices now.

I stare at the foggy mirror, just above the sink.
What a waste, like clouds. I stare at the reflection.
Oh well, it's hopeless, and I think that's fine.

For all I know I'll be dead tomorrow.
