i'd like to lie down on the green grass
as soft as cotton not hard like brass
and look at the sky
so blue
so blue
enjoy the sun, get tanned
and go for a run
come back and have lots of fun
have a chilled day out
not frown and pout
be happy and look at the sky

while i chuckle and play
over will be the day
and the night sky will be indigo

the next day i'll relax
