The Silent Cries Poem by Jaishree Nair

The Silent Cries

Rating: 4.8

The humour that ignited the laughter in thousands
full stopped by a mole unknown...

The star in the world of glamour
abused in the four wheels by a lascivious maniac...

The youth seeking knowledge choked to death
by the hands sowing seeds of wisdom

A virgin's cry was drowned in the shrieking
of the railroad engine...

The teenage lovers in the height of infatuation
hung on the rope of mutiny...

The touch of the kin burned a hole
in the three month's tender parts..

The human gods feeding on the ignorants
with false promises...

The medias gloating on the scandals
with grotesque pens to darken words..

The dogs gorging on live humans
displaying their antagonism...

The sky playing hide and seek
on the parched and dry pits craving for the elixr.

And above all God a silent witness
Watchful, waiting and waiting...!
