The Sign Poem by Brian Ely

The Sign

I heard a kettle screamin'
In a siren's wail today
Where are sailors on their ship?
I must warn them or they'll drown

1,000,000 people
In a 100,000 people town

Sardines are sayin', What are you doing? '

Sign of the times
Sign saying, 'Such a crime'
The very ones you made

Some sayin, 'Know how i feel? '

Sign says, 'How do you feel? '
