The Siege Of Alexandria Poem by Michael Koelliker

The Siege Of Alexandria

I just need a home,
A place that I can call my own.
Someone who will always care,
And hold me when the shadows scare.

I feel alone in this time,
I need someone who is forever mine.
I am not as strong as I appear.
I have a lot of pain and fear.

I cannot waste more time or breath,
With someone who loves me with only her breast.
I need her heart more than her skin,
But this hope is looking dim.

I am different, not like the rest,
But it looks like I’m being put to the test.
