The Shenandoah Poem by chris schwartz

The Shenandoah

Rating: 5.0

Suffer the silence
Of the Shenandoah
The grace of the water
Gliding over sharp rocks
One wishing for Mercy
To Escape
The beauty
Bountiful to behold
Unto others.
No wonder,
So many Songs
Have quested,
To describe
Your sad
Yet Pondering trail.
We, as humans,
Have yet learned,
How to navigate
The magnificence
You display
With such Wonder.
