The Sheild Poem by kaizer phanton

The Sheild

Crushing walls of shame full defeat
Closing in, my end is not sweet
Savor the searing acid of ominous regression
To realize the failure, and thus, more oppression

Passion to make them feel the backhand or justice
the sudden rush of death's deliverance-or the lack of
practice
the opponent then lets his guard downtime to let it all
out, relentless fury world be known!

but....righteous fire burns on......out
then suddenly fades the will to fight like a dying trout
remembrance of the ability.....the gifted skill
does not give one the license to kill

the tradegy inevitably unfolds
the story that for centuries been untold
gringing the last breath, the last desire
I let the walls close in, to put out my fire

this gift, this sword, I've given to the wield
has been thrown down........for I choose THE SHIELD!
