The Seeker Of The Moon Poem by Vera Dike

The Seeker Of The Moon

Rating: 5.0

The Stars has changed.
So did I.

Under foreign sky
between the drops of rain
I seek Thee.

The night echoes
with steps of Great Bear.

In the cry of night birds
in the scent of sleeping roses
Thou appeared.

Eternam pilgrim...

Find me, when I leave.

Foreign sky, same moon, right? Interesting poem. I’m wondering about the Great Bear and the seeking. Honest seekers will find.

The portrayal of the night sky has been done quite elegantly and the poem develops spontaneously. Loved reading it. Thank you so much for sharing. I too have a special place for moon in my heart.
