We danced-you wore that pink dress, and your feet were bare, your eyes fiery blue against your long dark hair. The light reflected of your skin, as you took my offered hand to let this dance begin.we two stepped across the marble floor, and you feigned into my hand as i gently pulled your fall.
They watched-unbelieving, as we fleeted between death and the living.our eyes locked and remained unbroken. The expression of our dance left no word unspoken.the beautiful song and its obscurely perfect themes, was all we needed to completely match our rhythms.
We died-the way in which our song was abrutly cut, the sadness that lingered in my broken heart.i belonged to you, you belong to me too, its the uncomplicated addition of one plus one equals two.but it wasnt the end, it wasnt the last song, even though we danced for so long.and now we stand so far apart, you in other arms, another in mine.the movement sweet, the moment painful and bitter.and i know you had never saved me that last dance.

This is really beautiful writing Peya. The name also is original and creative for the theme. The last stanza is poignant and lingers longingly.... 10/10 Karin Anderson
