The Salt Of Life Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

The Salt Of Life

Rating: 5.0

Man's repute, ah the true salt of life,
Purest of treasure in itself rife,
A sharp knife's keenest edge,
And man's mirror image,
But unless advertised,
Like a salt iodised,
Even to wife's eyes suffers strife!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
With so much competing attention, with man so much involved in him, with so many bits and bytes to choose from, what else I wonder can be?

Reputation and true salt come through hard work and righteousness of a man. Wonderful message is reflected in this brilliant poem.10

Great analogy, reputation is the salt among all human qualities. Thank you Kumarmani Mahakul.
