The Romantic Dreamer Poem by Suelynn Walters

The Romantic Dreamer

You had a dream
A love so very fair and true.
Such a blissful love
You described how she loved you.
All the love shared
For every beat of your hearts.
A magical romance
That took place from the start.
However one day
You wore such a long frown.
I questioned your emotions
As you gazed sad to the ground.
You told me you were lying
And nothing was as it seemed.
Dumbfounded was my exspression
Over something but a dream.
