The Road Unknown Poem by Perry Biggerstaff

The Road Unknown

Rating: 5.0

I walk a road unknown,
Where not a hint of fate is shown.
The footprints left, not just my own,
for God walks by my side.

I sail an unknown sea.
Where often storms would threaten me.
But He that holds eternity,
commands the wind and tide.

I face a world of sin,
Temptations there..without..within.
Left to myself, I'd never win,
If I would fight alone.

I am the body frail,
That self abuse and time assail.
But heaven waits beyond the vale,
..Beyond the road unknown.

Extremely soothing almost like a prayer that I could certainly use today. This road unknown importantly is to be alive and ready to take on what lies ahead. Thank you
